It was an inspiring day of community service as Elgin joined in the fun at the Flag Football Kick-Off for the Foster Buddies Network of Orlando.
Surrounded by young people ready to take to the field, he had the chance to speak to the kids and parents with a motivational message of hope and inspiration. Not to be left on the sidelines, he then played some some flag football with the participants.
It was a great day for the kids in the group, whose mission is to make a difference in the lives of children in foster care. Through a team of committed volunteers, the Foster Buddies Network aims to bring awareness to the public, as well as create activities that support the kids through their daily challenges and help them to look forward to the future.
The Foster Buddies Network of Orlando, Florida was created to provide assistance to children in the foster care system.
The group invited Elgin to participate in their 2009 Flag Football
